9 CARAT (SIZE P) GOLD RING WITH ONYX STONE
I received this ring as a present for my 19th birthday from my parents so it's with much regret that I've decided to part with this item which obviously bears a significant sentimental value for me, not to mention the monetary value but sadly I'm having to part with it in order to raise some funds so that I can meet some personal goals.
Now because of the jewellers who I've approached quoting me anywhere from R300.00 to R600.00 to have the ring's value appraised I've decided not to do so but I can tell you that I've shown the ring to two separate jewellers in the Cresta shopping centre and the current estimated value is between R1500.00 and R1800.00. (I was advised by one of the jewellers that they ring weighs 2,4 grams).
Should the winning bidder wish to do so, I would be more than happy to have the ring's value appraised before the winning bidder makes payment provided that the winning bidder agrees to pay for the appraisal fee and before the appraisal is carried out. I will only be prepared to have the appraisal carried out by one of the two jewellers with whom I've already spoken to concerning this ring.
Should the appraisal be carried out (as per my instruction) and the value of the ring not at least equal the winning bid or R1500.00 (whichever is the lower figure) then I will allow the winning bidder to withdraw from the auction provided that the runner up bidder agrees to purchase the ring from me at the his / her highest bid.
THE APPRAISAL CERTIFICATE WILL BE GIVEN TO THE FINAL WINNING BIDDER, BE IT THE ORIGINAL WINNING BIDDER OR THE RUNNER UP.
Should the original winning bidder pay for the appraisal and then decide that they no longer wish to purchase the ring for any reason whatsoever, then the appraisal fee will not be refunded. The appraisal fee will not be deducted from the winning bidder's winning bid.
Lastly, because of the value of this item I'm not offering any shipping with it so the winning bidder will have to collect it from my home in Randburg.
