Unusual 9-piece silver-plated dessert set. The serving bowl is appropriate for trifles; and perhaps when not in use as a dessert bowl, can be used as a centre-piece on a table, or for fruit. The items are ideal for entertainment. The dessert bowls can be used as finger bowls, or for snacks and dips.

There are no stamps on the serving bowl but there are on the dessert bowls. The number displayed is: 36085 above a crest with E & Co stamped inside the crest as well as underneath the crest, followed with"ELKINGTON PLATE ENGLAND" with "Y" in another crest

Wear and tear is apparent on the serving bowl. In some places, the silver-plate has worn off on the serving bowl, while the dessert bowls are in good condition, albeit used. Unfortunately, with the lustre on the silver, illustration cannot be provided of the places where the silver-plate has worn. Despite the wear and tear, this is a lovely set and display item, which is still very usable.
