This rather pretty natural blue topaz 9ct white gold ring heralds from Birmingham in the Jewellery Quarter of England. The topaz is 8 x 6 mm baguette cut and set into the ring with four extended claws presenting the top of the ring head just under 5 mm above the finger. The galley is an openwork 9ct white gold structure that gives a good, solid feel. The ring size is 6/quarter ('M/half' in British and SA sizing) and weighs 2,6 grams. It has English hallmarks including 375 for 9ct gold and the Birmingham assay. The ring comes with an Independent Jeweller Authentication and Valuation Certificate of R10'000.
