This gorgeous piece has an unusual, contemporary design - the cross is essentially a 3-D ribbon creating the cross, with the top surface of the cross featuring 19 x round-cut deep blue sapphires channel-set in 9ct yellow gold. Where the 'ribbon' crosses over, is a square element that holds a brilliant-cut, claw set diamond accent. The underneath of the 'ribbon' features 4 more brilliant-cut diamonds set in 9ct white gold.  The ' ribbon' has a raised edge in 9ct yellow gold which adds to the 3-dimensional effect. The cross is threaded on a fine 9ct yellow gold chain measuring 40 cm (400 mm). The pendant measures 30mm long x 18mm wide and weighs 2,2 grams. The piece is hallmarked with 375 for 9 ct gold, the jeweller's signature, and the Sheffield Assay mark.
