An album of 30 watercolours of Cape flora. Attributed to Emily Ellen Pattison, sister of the botanical artist Ethel May Dixie. Many of the specimens are identified with the artist's minute handwriting. Some age toning and brittleness to the album boards but images remain very clean and bright. Condition: Very good. Bound in a full diced leather binding with gilt titles and edges. Cracking to most of the board pages at the lower gutter. This has been repaired to the verso with an archival tape. Spine of the album rebacked.
