A 19th Century carriage clock made by the famous maker Jules of Paris dating circa 1850 .
Eight day two train movement with typical Jules platform escapement striking on a bell, contained in gilt brass and bevelled glass rectangular case with crossed ribbon and flowerhead ornament to the mouldings and cast leaf scroll pattern base.
The clock is being sold as not working. If you turn the clock upside down it does work for few seconds but then stops.
The bell is missing but i have extra that i can give with. not sure if it will work.
The striker side work (both barrel springs work and can be wound)
