A 3 X WWII Medal set with his Wife's Nursing medal, whom Mr. D.G. Johnson No: 143009 met during the War, With a unbelieveble 4th medal included from Mr.Johnsons farther.

2nd Medal, was the British Star Medal first issued on July 8, 1943, the British Royal Monarch awarded this fascinating star medal to subjects of all of the commonwealth dominions who gave their valiant service in the Second World War making it a fantastic piece of both British and World War II history.
3rd Medal belonged to Mr Johnsons father, witch according to wikipedia is a very rare medal and here with in their own words explained. " In the Colonies and Boer Republics which became the Union of South Africa in 1910, several unofficial military decorations and medals were instituted and awarded during the nineteenth and early twentieth century. The Kimberley Star is an unofficial private campaign medal which was instituted by the Mayor of Kimberley in 1900. The medal was awarded to all who took part in the defence of the diamond mining town during the four months in 1899 and 1900 while Kimberley was besieged by Boer Republican Forces during the Second Boer War"
4th Medal was isued to servicemen whom served originaly just in South Africa but was then also issued to men whom served all over during the 2nd World War.
