A beautiful and rare hand carved antique Ansonia "Gingerbread" shelf mantle clock with alarm bell

This beautiful and rare antique Victorian (late 1800's to early 1900's) USA made Ansonia Clock Company "Gingerbread" shelf mantle clock has an alarm and is a very rare find. The clock has an etched glass door and measures 34cm long x 12cm wide x 58cm high. The clock has is working intermittently and does need a service and clean. These amazing clocks are also sometimes called parlour or kitchen shelf clocks. The mechanical clock has a brass wind-up key. The clock gongs (spiral gong) on a half hour and hourly interval and the alarm makes use of the bell. There is minimal/ normal age and usage related wear and tear and scuffs etc (see pics) and this is still a wonderful and well cared for antique hand carved Victorian clock. There is some flaking of the dial.
