A lovely Moroccan water carrier in very good condition. I presume that this is ornamental, rather than functional as it is highly decorative but it looks as though it can be used. It has inlaid copper and brass and white metal, all embossed - looks hand beaten. From the top of spout to the bottom is 26cm, from the rope hanger to the bottom is 44cm. It is 20cm wide. There are teardrop shape brass bits dangling from the bottom all tooled with a symbol on them. The lid comes off and is attached to the rope handle with what looks like copper chainlink.
