AN ABSOLUTELY DAZZLING HAND-CUT BOROCRYSTAL CZECHOSLOVAKIAN VASE
This design is quite similar to the vase published on page 74 of 'Hi Sklo Lo Sklo' (pattern no. 2002) and it is therefore likley that Milos Filip (1926-1966) conceptualised this design in the early 1960s. Reviewed in Czechoslovak Glass Review in 1963, fellow glass designer Jiri Zejmon describes it as being 'of perfect architectonic' shape.
Height : 259 mm / Weight : 2,086 kg
NB! A minor chip at the back (see third last photograph). The indicative market price is R2,500 - a gift at this starting price!
