THIS RARE VINTAGE ART DECO "SHORTER & SON" PORCELAIN DOUBLE HANDLE SWEETS PLATE IN THE GORGEOUS ANEMONE SERIES DATES BACK TO AROUND 1935. THE PLATE MEASURE 20cm LONG x 14cm WIDE. THE PLATE IS IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION FOR ITS AGE AND HAS NO CHIPS OR CRACKS IN IT. THERE IS A LITTLE CRAZING. EACH OF THE PIECES OF THE ANEMONE SERIES HAS BEEN HAND PAINTED IN A RICH RED SET ON IVORY PORCELAIN.
