A beautiful vintage Merlin Furniture Imbuia ball & claw drinks cabinet/ server in awesome condition!

This beautiful vintage solid Imbuia ball & claw drinks cabinet/ buffet server by Merlin Furniture is in wonderful condition with minor/ normal age and usage related wear and tear and measures 128cm long x 39cm wide x 136cm high. The cabinet has an engraved brass plaque on the front as follows: "Aan W.A. (Arthur) Van Dyk van Die Burger - Kapel met innige waardering vir waardevolle dienste gelewer". The cabinet has cupboards on either side of the cabinet with glass doors and shelves in each cupboard as well as a double door cabinet below the fold down drinks counter/ door lid and a good size drawer. The drinks area has a hinged lid. The cabinet is very sturdy and extremely well made. The cabinet could also be used in a dining room as a server/ buffet with the drinks cabinet used for sherry, port and dessert wines etc. The cabinet would also make a stunning bookcase in an office or library or a collectables display cabinet; or you can paint/ shabby chic it to your style!
