I had originally listed this pair separately and individually, but thinking it over, it makes more sense to list them together as a lot. In the listing photograph, the tall is the one on the left, and the petite the one on the right.
 
Whether you’re a dealer, creator or a collector of fine art, these exquisitely carved and contoured French Victorian solid mahogany easels will add another dimension to your treasured canvases.
 
One of the greatest assets of the petite easel is the versatility its size engenders. Standing just short of a metre tall (97cm), and with an adjustable picture rest 45cm wide, this piece is large enough to be left free-standing on the floor, yet small enough to be placed upon a table-top without overpowering it.
 
Moving on to the larger easel. This is an arresting piece, standing fully 2 metres tall, and is also adjustable for different sizes of artwork. This easel is as sturdy and solid as it is aesthetically stunning, featuring intricate hand-carved detail and top crest-like design. The picture rest is roughly 60cm wide.
 

Both are in mint condition – unblemished – in a deep, ruddy, smouldering, mahogany hue.
