A canteen of old English cutlery - 57 pieces

A good quality silver plated canteen of cutlery in the popular old English pattern. The 57 piece, canteen is for six place setting for with fish pieces. Condition on the silver plated items is good - but the bone handled knives show signs of wear, one is loose, as do the stainless steel blades. All pieces are marked B&JS, except for one dinner fork and two dessert forks which I have added to compete the canteen. The knives are by Cooper Bros, Sheffield. One dinner knife has also been added. The teaspoons are by Buxbridge. All pieces match.

It all comes in a lovely oak canteen case. There are 6 dinner knives (24cm), 6 dessert knives (21cm); 6 table forks (19.5cm); 6 dessert forks (17.5cm); 6 large soup spoons (19cm); six dessert spoons (18cm); 6 teaspoons (12.5cm), two serving spoons (23.5), a salt spoon and 6 bone handled fish forks (17cm) and 6 fish knives (20cm). A useful set.

Please note: the knives don't stand up in that strange holder in the lid of the canteen, they are shown only for display. They will have to be stored in the main body of the canteen.
