Condition: Very Good. The boards have some minor scuffing and light edgewear. There is a small crack in the binding along the spine facing the front board, but the spine is still solidly bound and not loose. The spine has some chipping with very small sections missing. A small tear in the gutter between pastedown and front free endpaper, binding intact. Marking in pencil on front free endpaper. Author's dedication on flyleaf. Minor chipping (possibly insect damage) to the back free endpaper and the last few pages. Very light foxing to pages. The text is clean and clear. A very handsome volume, with leather binding and gilt lettering on the spine.
