Landscape format. Hardcover with dust jacket. Binding is solid and clean inside. First edition, published in 1981. The d/j has a little paper loss at bottom of spine and is shelf-rubbed. Edges of boards a little edge-worn. The photographs show the changes in Cape Town since around 1910 to date of publication. Ray Ryan was a renowned photographer. This book really takes one down memory lane The first picture in the book (see photograph) is a copy of a painting done in 1899, illustrating  what Cape Town would look like in 1999! This showing how difficult it is to predict the future. No shipping overseas.
