BOTTA-DESIGN CLAVIUS, black, leather strap

 This new version of Botta Design "Clavius" is released in June 2009. As same with the previous model, it is a quartz watch with a design that rapidly focuses the eye on the three hands of the watch, so it is useful as well as beautiful.

No other watch looks quite like it. With its slim movement and luxury finish, using sapphire glass, titanium and genuine South German leather, it is a truly eye-catching fashion watch, made with traditional German technology and quality. The watch movement is the well-respected Swiss-made Ronda 1003 caliber, and a titanium bracelet is available as an option.

With its ring window display, the CLAVIUS marks a clear departure from all that is ordinary and everyday.

A hole has been cut in the middle of the sapphire glass, and a titanium inlay inserted to lie flush with the watch dial. The remaining circular ring around the central disc reveals the watch's bare essentials namely the three hands and the scale on the dial. The hands are coated with luminescent Superluminova, making them easy to read even in the dark.
