The Kate Hume 'PEBBLES' design is a one of a kind free-blown glass vessel that has attracted an international following. Kate lives in Amsterdam and France. Her art glass pieces have been widely exhibited and are often the finishing touch in her interior design projects.

The pebbles vase with its bold organic shapes characterize Hume's work, with an emphasis on jewel-bright colours. Each Pebble ('caillou') is hand-made, and unusually for glass, has an obvious 'touch' of the hand in its gentle form.

To import this piece of glass will cost around R15,750 (US$591 + $75 shipping plus 25% customs and 15% VAT).

It is an absolute bargain at R7,500.
