This spectacularly framed original signed "Jeanette Dykman" still life oil painting of a vase of pink Roses has been framed in an incredible antique ornate gold gilt frame which in itself is worth a fortune. The incredible attention to detailing is amazing and the entire painting comes together beautifully. Jeanette Dykman is a South African painter who was born in 1938. She began her studies under the guidance of her father. She paints flowers, mainly roses. From 1970 she has participated in many group exhibitions in SA. In 1971 she held her first of several solo exhibitions in SA House in London. The other solo exhibitions were held throughout Europe, SA and USA. Her art-work is represented in the Municipal Collections of Springs, Randfontein, Brakpan, Krugersdorp and Newcastle; in the Museum of Modern Art in New York, in the University of the Witwatersrand, as well as in numerous art galleries and private collections in South Africa and overseas. The framed painting measures 48cm wide x 79cm high and 29cm wide x 60cm high (Ex-frame).
