This incredible antique King George III hallmarked British made sterling silver spoon has magnificent hand chased detailing and is 16cm long. The spoon weighs in at a wonderful 24.76g. The hallmarks on the spoon consists of the lion Passant confirming it is British sterling silver (925), the leopard Assay mark confirming the spoon was made in London, the letter "P" confirming it was made in 1810 and the 1786 to 1821 George III duty mark confirming that taxes were paid on the silver. I am not able to determine who the manufacturer was. The spoon is in beautiful condition for its age and there is minimal/ normal age and usage related wear and tear. Please view the pics carefully to fully appreciate this superb antique Georgian sterling silver spoon and to confirm the condition.
