Paula van Emmenis, born 12 January 1949 in Nylstroom, is the daughter of renowned Bushveld-artist Piet van Emmenis. She started experimenting with different forms of art at a young age, and gradually perfected her technique in both oil and acrylic on canvas.   Over the last 40 years she has established herself successfully as one of South Africa’s most creative, productive and experienced artists. She has taught not only her children, Lariza, Stèfan, David and Christelle van Emmenis to develop their own styles of art, but also a large number of young and upcoming artists
