The overall dimensions of this work is 71.5 cm X 91.25 cm and that includes the green backing border surrounding the painting leaving the actual work behind glass measuring 36.2 cm X 53.7 cm. The painting is signed and dated by the artist.
About the artist
Petra’s career stretches back over 35 years and after studying art at Bloemfontein and Potchefstroom she went on to give two exhibitions in England where a lot of her work now hangs in some of the Galleries there. Apart from this Petra has travelled to, and has sold several of her works in Belgium, the States, UK, Germany and Namibia as well as her home country South Africa. Of late she has travelled all over the country giving a lot of intensive art courses in what she considers her way of ploughing back some of the knowledge she obtained over her own career.
