THIS WONDERFUL OLD VINTAGE SA TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT/ SOUTH AFRICAN RAILWAYS (SAR/SAS) LANTERN IS PRETTY AWESOME AND IN FAIR CONDITION FOR ITS AGE AND HAS AGE RELATED WEAR AND TEAR, SCUFFS AND SOME RUST. THE LANTERN IS ROUGHLY 36cm TALL x 18cm x 23.5cm. THE LENSES ON THE LANTERN ARE MISSING, BUT THE LANTERN HAS THE ORIGINAL BURNER IN THE LANTERN. THESE LANTERNS ARE HUGELY COLLECTABLE AND A MUST FOR ANY COLLECTOR OF RAILWAY OR ROAD PARAPHERNALIA. THIS WOULD ALSO MAKE AN AWESOME RESTORATION PIECE. PLEASE VIEW THE PICS CAREFULLY FOR THE GENERAL CONDITION.
