THIS FANTASTIC VINTAGE STANLEY No. 78 CARPENTERS DUPLEX RABBET WOOD PLANE WAS MANUFACTURED BETWEEN 1885 AND 1973 AND WAS THE RABBET PLANE TO HAVE IN IT'S DAY. THE COMPANY WAS BUILT ON THE BACK OF THIS HUGELY SOUGHT AFTER PLANE AND JUST ABOUT EVERY CARPENTER HAD THIS PLANE IN THEIR COLLECTION. THERE IS A LITTLE AGE AND USAGE RELATED WEAR AND TEAR. PLEASE VIEW THE PICS CAREFULLY FOR THE GENERAL CONDITION. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET ON THE PLANE.
