An edition addressed to 'My English-speaking Colleagues, Members of the two Houses of the Union Parliament.
The Union Parliament made an amendment to the Constitution making Afrikaans an official language of the Union. Langenhoven wrote this little book to encourage English-speaking parliamentarians to use and understand Afrikaans. It is written with humour, but it certainly conveys the skills needed in a friendly and useful manner.
