The serving spoon is hallmarked as follows: The makers mark "TD" confirms the serving spoon was made by Thompson Davies, The crowned Leopards head Assay mark confirming the spoon was made in London, the Lion Passant standard mark confirming the spoon is sterling silver (925) and the date letter "J" confirming the spoon was made in 1764. The serving spoon weighs a very decent 68g. This is truly a rare find and considering this spoon is 257 years old, it is in incredible condition with absolute minimal age related wear and tear.
