This wonderful ornate antique British made hallmarked sterling silver sugar spoon weighs 21.58g. The hallmarks on the teaspoon consist of the "HM" makers mark confirming it is an original Henry Mathews piece, the lion Passant confirming it is British sterling silver (925), the Anchor Assay mark confirming the teaspoon was made in Birmingham and the date letter "b" confirming it was made in 1901. The sugar spoon is in great condition for its age and there is minimal/ normal age and usage related wear.
