This is a solid ivory statue carved from one piece . The base is stamped and numbered . In one pic from the back you will notice an extremely small repair to the part of the dress that flares upward . This is not visible from the front unless detecting with a magnifying glass .
Carved ivory statues are not only valuable with prices ranging from 1000 to over 10 000 Pounds but also very scarce in good condition .
