A GORGEOUS VINTAGE PORCELAIN DOLL - Italian

A Stunning Collectable Porcelain Doll  

She dates from the early 1920' or even earlier and was bought back from Italy. My client says this doll was one of her very favourites. Her navy blue dress, frill of the bonnet, and pantaloons are cotton and trimmed with lace. The bonnet is made of velvet, trimmed with a wide frill with lovely lace and ties under the chin with a silk ribbon. The dress and sleeves close with a stud and they are all slightly rusted. She wears lovely cream cotton socks, the booties are soft black leather and ties with shoe laces of which only one is preserved. Her face is beautifully hand painted. The rest of the body is made of muslin and stuffing. She is in a very good condition and a very beautiful display doll!
