The thumb piano has five keys and has decorative carvings on the front. A butternut shell (or kalbash?) is used is used as a resonator.

The string instrument resembles a mini guitar. There are eight string altogether (four on each side). The resonator box is made from kalbash or perhaps coconut. It is covered in thin leather and decorated with Cowrie shells. All the strings are intact.

I am not an expert on this and if I made a mistake with the description it is not intentional.
