This amazing hand carved Meerschaum smoking pipe comes in its original case. The pipe is used and in good vintage condition with some wear as shown in the pics. This pipe is great to add to a collection of Meerchaum pipes. The case measures around 11cm. These pipes in pristine condition can sell between R1500 to R2500. A Meerschaum pipe is a smoking pipe made from the mineral sepiolite, also known as meerschaum. Meerschaum is sometimes found floating on the Black Sea and is rather suggestive of sea foam. Much has been written about Meerschaum and its contribution to the artistic aspect of Pipe Smoking.

But it is for its practical properties that most Meerschaum Smokers appreciate it.
