A beautifully detailed pewter Meiji Jewellery box with an Elephant landscape scene. Unfortunately the hinges have come loose therefore two separate parts. Measures 15cm by 5cm. Some wear to the patina of the box. Limited number enscribed on base. A great addition to an Oriental collector.
