This absolutely magnificent and intricately detailed original Persian carpet  is a heavy quality Persian carpet measuring a superb 410cm long x 298cm wide. The carpet looks to be of Afghan design and incorporates the "diamond" symbol into the pattern. The diamond symbol represents the "woman" and would most likely have been signed and made for a woman. The carpet is in beautiful vintage condition with minor wear and tear and minimal sun-bleaching etc; there is a little damage around the edges which could be stitched again (see pics). The carpet has an array of rich colours that include blues, pink, grey, apricot, rust, ivory  and earthy tones. This is a very large carpet that would be ideal in a larger lounge or bedroom or even in a executives office.  Please view the pics carefully to fully appreciate this truly magnificently composed Persian carpet and to confirm the condition.
