Description: Good. Original crimson cloth boards with bright gilt. Small stain on back board. Original leaf design endpapers. Frontispiece photograph of diamond sorting with tissue paper. Three further full page photographs including Paul Kruger in front of his house. First couple of leaves have minor edgewear including small chips. Some sensitve repairs using Japanese paper. Contents clean, crimson edges. Chapters on inter alia Cape Town, Ceres, Kimberley, Johannesburg, Pietermaritzburg and Durban.
