CUT AND POLISHED INTO 3 POINTS WITH A FREE STANDING CUT BASE.
HAVE A CAVITY ON TOP FILLED WITH SAND WHEN VIEWED FROM THE SIDE YOU CAN SEE THE SAND.
Smoky quartz is a brownish grey, translucent (see photo) variety of quartz that ranges in clarity from almost complete transparency to an almost-opaque brownish-gray or black crystal. Like other quartz gems, it is a silicon dioxide crystal. The color of smoky quartz is produced when natural radiation, emitted from the surrounding rock, activates color centers around aluminum impurities within the crystalline quartz. Brazil and Madagascar are the two major producers of Smoky Quartz.
CONDITION: Good. Has two edge chips (see photos) but overall in good condition.
