A beautiful original oil on board , signed by the artist A Gird . 

I tried researching the artist and found that this is the wife of better known artist John Gird . There was a street scene oil painting available on Bid or buy for sale at R 2000 . According to the BOB seller her name is Agatha however there are also oil paintings I found on OLX and Gumtree where the seller believes the artists name is Alta . 

Either way , her works have a reasonable market value of between R 500 and R 2000 , I imagine this depends on size and subject .
