THIS MAGNIFICENT LARGE BLACK OBSIDIAN? PENDANT ON A BEAUTIFUL STERLING SILVER CHAIN IS IN A WONDERFUL GIFT BOX AND READY FOR THAT SOMEONE SPECIAL. THE LARGE TEARDROP STONE MEASURES A VERY DECENT 7cm x 4cm. I'M INCLINED TO BELIEVE THAT THE STONE IS OBSIDIAN (VOLCANIC GLASS) WHICH WAS VERY POPULAR AMONGST THE RED INDIANS WHO MADE ARROWHEADS OUT OF THE STONE. IT IS ALSO COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS A "PURITY" STONE. THE CHAIN ON THIS EXQUISITE PENDANT IS 54cm LONG.
