HERE IS ANOTHER TREAT FOR THE CAPODIMONTE COLLECTORS - THIS AMAZING VINTAGE ORIGINAL "STAMPED" CAPODIMONTE OF ITALY VERY LARGE (55.5cm TALL) PORCELAIN FIGURINE IS A VERY EXCITING FIND FOR US, NOT ONLY BECAUSE IT IS AN ORIGINAL HAND PAINTED CAPODIMONTE PIECE, OR BECAUSE OF THE SHEER SIZE OF THE FIGURINE, BUT BECAUSE THE LARGER FIGURINES ARE SO SCARCE. THE FIGURINE IS THAT OF A FRENCH REGENCY COUPLE PLAYING MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS AND THE HAND PAINTED DETAILING IS ABSOLUTELY EXQUISITE, EVEN TO THE WRINKLES ON THEIR KNUCKLES. THERE HAS BEEN A REPAIR TO HER "GUITAR" BUT IT BY NO MEANS DETRACTS FROM THIS AWESOME PIECE. BECAUSE OF THE SIZE OF THE FIGURINE, THERE IS OFTEN A COUPLE OF CHIPS AND NICKS, AS IS THE CASE WITH THIS PIECE, BUT NOTHING MAJOR.
