Part 1 published by Longmans, Green, And Co, 1910. Boards (orange) are rubbed, worn and faded, particularly the rear one, where large patches of the cloth have lost colour. The boards are slightly bowed. The first and last few pages are heavily foxed, but though generally aged, the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. Part 2 (green) published by Longmans, Geen, and Co, 1912, in overall better condition than part 1, but with the spine covering missing, that has resulted in the binding being a bit weak. The boards too are edge-worn, and there are pencil notes on the first end-paper. First and last few pages too are foxed.
