A STUNNING PIECE OF FRENCH FAIENCE DATING TO THE END OF THE 1700's. THIS SOFT PASTE PORCELAIN IS A TYPICAL EXAMPLE OF THE REGION BUT SADLY PRODUCTION CEASED TOWARDS THE END OF THE 18th CENTURY. THERE IS SOME SLIGHT DAMAGE TO THE EARS OF THE GOAT HEAD EMBELLISHMENTS AND THERE HAS BEEN SOME SORT OF RESTORATION TO THE STEM OF THE URN. OVERALL IT IS A SUPER EXAMPLE OF HAND PAINTED EARLY FAIENCE. IT STANDS 23cm TALL
