Former Lotus FM deejay Ravi Govender, is a man of many caps, all with merits in their own right. Govender was the host of the show Vinyl Countdown on Lotus FM. Upon researching this powerhouse of a man, I learned that Ravi Govender had proven to be a positive influence, on the listenership of Lotus FM whilst employed at the station, as far afield as the United Kingdom. Born in Victoria Street, Durban just two blocks from the Indian Market, he has written two popular columns, for POST newspaper. He is a public speaker, entrepreneur, served on the board of a Durban Hospital, and also a successful author.
