This stunning antique hallmarked British madesterling silver spoon has a monogram on the spoon handle and is 17cm long. The spoon weighs in at 35g. The hallmarks on the spoons consist of the "CB" makers mark confirming it is an original Charles Boyton spoon, the lion Passant confirming it is British sterling silver (925), the leopard Assay mark confirming the spoon was made in London, the letter "t" confirming it was made in 1874 and the 1838 to 1890 Queen Victoria duty mark confirming that taxes were paid on the silver. The spoon is in good condition for its age and there is minimal/ normal age and usage related wear and tear.
