Both front and rear panels lightly shelf-rubbed, with a couple of random small creases. Creases across all corners. Rear panel corners rubbed. Price sticker on rear. Edges of text block sunned. Sticker ghosts and tape residue on insides of cover, both front and rear, imprinted on the facing fly leaf. Previous owner inscriptions on fly leaf and title page--both foxed and age-toned. Occasional, limited foxing throughout text block, mostly faint. All pages age-toned. Two small, faint brown stains on p. 289. Otherwise text block is clean--no inscriptions, no highlighting or underlining, no annotations or marginalia. Photographic plates are clean, not foxed or stained. Binding is secure, no loose, missing, or torn pages.
