This pretty antique (1932) British hallmarked sterling silver tea strainer weighs 31.62grams. The hallmarks consist of the "EV" makers mark confirming it is a Viners Ltd piece, the lion Passant confirming it is British sterling silver (925), the crown Assay mark confirming it was made in Sheffield and the date letter "U" confirming it was made in 1937. There is a little age and usage related wear and tear that one would expect to see on an antique piece.
