This rare antique Art Deco silver plated Hallmarked James Dixon & Son hot-chocolate/ cocoa pot with a Bakelite handle and lid knob is a wonderful find and is in beautiful condition for its age. The base of the cocoa pot is hallmarked as follows: EP confirming it is silver electro plated; JD&S confirming it was made by James Dixon & Son and has their trade mark Trumpet in a shield mark. The cocoa pot would have been made in the early part of the 20th century making is around 100 years old.
The pot is in wonderful condition for its age and measures 13cm high x 10.5cm wide x 15cm long (including the handle). A good polish would do this antique cocoa pot the world of good. There is minimal age and usage related wear and tear and scuffs and the plating has virtually no sign of tarnishing.
