A rare antique German made Haid & Neu hand-cranked sewing machine in its original bentwood box

This incredible and rare antique German made Haid & Neu hand-cranked sewing machine (s/n 3225965) with a porcelain handle is in gorgeous condition for its age and still in its original bentwood box with the key. The gold gilded detailing on the sewing machine is still in good condition and the sewing machine has been very well looked after. Everything still works by the looks of it, but we are selling it as an ornamental sewing machine, i.e. not working and would suggest that it be serviced and inspected if you intend using it. The bentwood box has some age and usage related wear and tear (see pics). The company was establish in Germany in 1860 and was eventually bought out by Singer in 1958.
