A NICE DUO THAT IS PROBABLY SUNDERLAND LUSTRE WARE, IT WOULD DATE TO THE EARLY 1800's AND IS TYPICAL OF THE POTTERY PRODUCED BY PHILLIPS & Co. THE CONDITION IS GOOD BUT THE PATTERN INSIDE THE CUP HAS WORN WITH AGE AND USE AND A VERY SMALL STAR CRACK HAS FORMED IN THE BASE, IT IS NOT NOTICABLE AND DOES NOT DETRACT FROM THE VISUAL APPEARANCE OF THE SET.
