THIS VERY RARE VINTAGE ART DECO ENGLISH MADE "SHORTER & SON" PORCELAIN MILK JUG AND SUGAR BOWL SET IN THE "ANEMONE" RANGE DATES BACK TO AROUND 1935. THE MILK JUG MEASURES 13.5cm LONG (SPOUT TO HANDLE) x 8cm WIDE x 5.5cm HIGH AND THE SUGAR BOWL IS 8.5cm WIDE x 6cm HIGH. THE SET IS IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION FOR THEIR AGE AND HAVE NO CHIPS OR CRACKS IN THEM. THERE IS A LITTLE CRAZING. EACH OF THE PIECES HAVE BEEN HAND PAINTED IN A RICH RED SET ON IVORY PORCELAIN.
