A rare vintage South African Airways `Young Chef Competition Final - 1989` porcelain plate

This rare vintage South African Airways - Chaine Des Rotisseurs "Young Chef Competition Final - 1989" porcelain plate is an awesome find and definitely a wonderful collectors plate. The first competition was organized in 1977 in Switzerland to support and promote future young chefs (Under 27) by giving them the opportunity to demonstrate their skills. Competitions are held at provincial, national and international levels in countries around the world that have a strong Cha®ne presence. The competition was started in 1990 in the United States and continues to grow every year. It has been featured on the TV Food Network and CNN. The plate is in great condition and has no chips or cracks in the porcelain. The cold gilt and colours are still vibrant.
