VINTAGE FIGURINE OF FEDELINO - Believed to have been a Roman messenger Boy who would Persevere in delivering whatever message !!

This LOVELY and RARE Oxolyte (cultured Marble Statue) is NOT among the more commonly found Sculptures by A. SANTINI., and when one is discovered it is usually made from Resin and is quite Costly.

This item however is NOT Resin but sculpted from OXOLYTE - a Cultured Marble. This fact is stated on a label on the Base. The Figurine has a circular Base with FEDELINO on one side and "A.SANTINI" on the other. It is of a young nude boy seated on a rock while removing a thorn from his foot.
